Tirana, 24 May 2025 – Today, the streets of Tirana filled with color, voices, and united hearts during one of the most powerful moments of the year: Tirana Pride 2025, organized by Aleanca LGBTI, Open Mind Spectrum Albania, Pink Embassy, Together for the LGBTI Cause, and Streha LGBTI under the empowering slogan: “Side by Side.”
Dozens of activists, citizens, community members, and allies marched together in the heart of the capital to send a loud and clear message: equality, dignity, and love are rights – not privileges.
In a country where LGBTI+ people still face discrimination, hate speech, and a lack of full legal and social recognition, this march was not only an act of celebration but also of resistance and hope. With bold placards, pride flags, and expressive outfits, participants made the invisible visible – the strength that comes from living authentically and standing united.

More than just a march, Tirana Pride 2025 was a public call to action – for more love, more justice, and more inclusion. It reminded us that there is no freedom without equality, and no peace without respect. And that our greatest power against hate is our unity.
